Ipsos is one of the liveliest resorts on Corfu, stretching along one kilometer of shelving beach. The natural curve of Ipsos bay offers scenic views along the coast to Corfu Town, and of the green hills inland and the mountains of mainland Greece and Albania. IPSOS is built up along a broad, straight road just above the beach, which curves into a tiny harbour. The easy availability of water sports, including pedalloes, paragliding, water-skiing makes Ipsos Beach an all-time favourite with visitors, many of whom return year after year to the resort. At night the action moves into the video bars, cocktail bars, pubs and clubs. Ipsos has a huge selection of tavernas and snack bars, as well as English, Chinese, Indian and Italian restaurants. There are all manner of shops at regular intervals along the resort's long, straight main road, from shops selling local products and tourist memorabilia, to large, fully stocked super-markets and min-markets.

Ipsos tends to attract young people due to its reputaion. Groups of friends and teenagers enjoy it here.
Also the resort is starting to cater for families with teenage children. Many couples enjoy Ipsos as it is a resort with plenty of life, but the edges are the quieter parts, such as the harbour end and the village behind the main road.Bars are something that IPSOS is not short of. Everything ranging from quieter cocktail bars and traditional Greek bars to the more lively music bars with wide screen TV playing the latest films and sports all day! One feature that some holidaymakers may enjoy is the numerous 'English' bars in Ipsos.
