Nissaki beach, shingle and rocky in parts, is a popular spot for snorkelling, swimming, and boating. Small boats with outboard motors can be hired to explore the nearby shingle coves - or you can choose the various pathways leading along the headland for a more traditional method of exploring.
Either side of Nissaki is Barbati and Agni – a stretch of coastline in one of the most beautiful areas in Corfu. Barbati has a long pebbly beach popular with families – the best along this coast - with umbrellas and sun lounges, plus watersports facilities for the more adventurous. Narrow winding lanes take you to Agni, north of Nissaki, where there is an extremely pretty cove with some yacht mooring jetties. Regarded as the gourmet heart of Corfu, Agni has three tavernas – one is traditionally Greek and the other two serve a more gourmet Greek cuisine. One of the tavernas is known for its very lengthy wine list – a perfect way to end the day
