Agios Gorgios (north) holiday resort in Corfu
This is a tale of one gorgeous bay and five hillside villages. Unlike so many resorts Agios Georgios was never a village and for many years remained divided between the five local communities. Ironically this quirk of history has preserved this place as a wonderfully unspoilt jewel set amongst outstanding countryside.
Pagi is one of the five villages and our accommodation is concentrated around the southern (Pagi) end of the bay, in fact as you travel through Pagi you will soon realise how remote from the rest of Corfu this beautiful corner of the island is. Nightlife here is what you make it, which can be enjoying an amazing seafood platter (contact reservations for details of the 'Fisherman's Taverna') or a few drinks with friends and locals alike. There are a few hotel pools and a selection of watersports, otherwise daytime activities involve taking in the sun on the uncrowded beach or enjoying fabulous walks along the coast and the surrounding hills and villages.
Agios Georgios is a small resort that has seen little development in recent years, consequently accommodation is not currently available of the same standard as in many of our other resorts.
